(1895-1970) Roman Catholic priest; Ph.D., Catholic University, 1935. Robert Navin was sequentially Dean (1929-1948) and President (1948 until his death) of St. John's College, Cleveland, Ohio (now defunct). He served as President of the American Catholic Sociological Society in 1949, and had interests in social welfare and social action.
